ATC Newsletter

Hey everyone. It's getting close to the time for the ATC newsletter to come out. Lets hear from everyone. Let us know what's happening with you. It only took me a few minutes to send something to Marcia to add and I have 3 sites to maintain. Plus I do tubes for Tristen's site so if I have a few minutes to spare, surely you do.

Dearest Sandy

Dearest Sandy

When the day has been a tough one
And you're up against the wall,

Hang in there friend, remember,
We'll never let you fall!

When you feel like all the pressure
Is blowing you away,

We'll be there to remind you
That our friendship's are here to stay!

When the long day's work is through,
And you're feeling worn and blue,

Hang in there and remember
You've got us and We've got you!

From Stumbles . . . to Laughter

As I have Traveled...
through life's "unknown" paths.
I've stumbled, I've Fallen,
I've cried, and I've Laughed.

For the "stumbles" were lessons...
To make me more strong,
To learn how to live...
And to keep traveling on.

The "falls" were my loses,
Things I gave up in pain...
I have to accept this...
Get up, and try again.

The "crying" was anger...
of my own "hurt pride",
For the unreachable things...
and those taken in stride.

The laughter was me...
All happy inside...
My Soul and my Spirit,
With Nothing to Hide.

For the Stumbles have taught me...
Falls gave me some hold...
While my crying was silent,
My laughter was bold!

For All I have learned...
And the bruises I've gotten,
For the tear wet pillows...
and laughter forgotten.

For the love of possessions...
pain of material loses.
All those tears shed...
for useless causes.

Finally it's clear...
and I've let go of things...
I stopped the crying...
I laugh and I sing.

For the Stumbles have taught me...
Falls gave me some hold,
While my crying was silent...
My laughter Is bold!

Did you ever wonder why ??

Rain

There are holes in the sky
Where the rain gets in,
But they're ever so small
That's why rain is thin.

by Spike Milligan

Something nonsensical!!

Bump
Things that go 'bump' in the night
Should not really give one a fright.
It's the hole in each ear
That lets in the fear,
That, and the absence of light!

Live is still giving me art,
for which I am grateful, on the whole.
Renoir and Matisse, roll over.
Van Gogh never came up
with yellow this vibrant. Reds
and blues leap out. Living
sculptures follow me with eyes
have to see to believe. Leonardo.
and Michelangelo are cringing,
you know. Check out the street art,
come see my statues. Insurance out,
but the crux is the loss comes
with age. Someone slips in screams
by Bosch imitators. Apers of Picasso
replace perfectly good landscapes
with bent triangles and circles
refuse to round. It is a woman
in a mirror, it is a giraffe
with two heads and six legs.
Some days, only brown and gray
collage. Dirt, sand, and excrement
cast a giant shadow. Clown with a tear
beside its ball nose contributes garish
red and mud blue, but the color
hurts. Thank God life surprises
with a masterpiece like autumn
came up with today. Wine, orange,
aubergine, and rust daubed on green
bring out the art lover again. Yes!
